Features and installation instructions of card sleeve joints (DIN2353 standard) |
Features of ferrule connector: The ferrule type joint is tightened by tightening the nut to tighten the ferrule within the 24° cone of the joint, and an effective hard contact seal is formed while the ferrule bites the steel pipe. The major feature of the ferrule type connector is that the installation is very convenient, and only a wrench is used. It can be installed, and the elastic ferrule sealing ring technology can further improve the anti-leakage ability of the ferrule joint: in addition, compared with the welded joint, it will not pollute the cleanliness of the pipeline due to oxide scale during the installation process, so the ferrule Type joints are widely used in high and low pressure ordinary piping systems, but the compression type joints require the use of precision seamless steel pipes. Installation instructions for compression fittings (correct installation of compression fittings is very important!!): 一、Prepare the steel pipe: The steel pipe used for the ferrule joint must be a precision cold drawn seamless steel pipe. 1. The steel pipe is sawed vertically, the allowable error of the perpendicularity of the pipe end surface and the pipe axis is ±3°, and the roundness and diameter of the sawing part of the steel pipe shall not be affected after sawing, 2. At the port of the steel pipe, the inner and outer surfaces are slightly deburred, and the allowable chamfer is 0.2×45°. 3. For bent pipes, the length from the end of the straight pipe to the bend is at least 2 times the height of the nut. 二、Pre-installation of the ferrule: In order to ensure the installation effect of the joint, it is recommended to use the pre-installed joint body or other corresponding pre-installation, and the equipment is pre-assembled, 1. Apply a small amount of grease to the thread of the nut, the thread and cone of the pre-installed joint body and the ferrule. For stainless steel joints, please use the special grease ASW 040 P 2.Push the nut and ferrule onto the steel pipe and confirm that the ferrule is not reversed 3.Press the steel pipe into the pre-installed joint body, screw the nut into the pre-installed joint by hand, and then use a wrench to tighten until the ferrule holds the steel pipe. At this time, you will obviously feel the increase in tightening force, and then use the wrench to continue to tighten the nut. Tighten approximately 11/4 to 11/2 turns. For larger steel pipes above 12mm, use an extended wrench. Note: Do not allow the steel pipe to be driven to rotate when tightening the nut.. 4.Check whether the steel pipe has formed an obvious protrusion after being squeezed at the front end of the ferrule and has wrapped the front edge of the ferrule. If it has been formed and the ferrule cannot move back and forth on the steel pipe, it can only be turned slightly to indicate the end of the pre-installation. 5.In order to avoid the shrinkage and deformation of the steel pipe when the clamping sleeve is tightened, the wall thickness of the steel pipe should not be too thin. For the steel pipe of? 8-?15, avoid the thickness of the steel pipe> 1mm? 16-? 18 steel pipe wall thickness> 1.5mm,? 20-? 35 steel pipe wall thickness > 2mm, ?38-?42 steel pipe wall thickness > 2.5mm, if thin-walled pipe must be selected, please insert a bushing inside the steel pipe to increase the wall thickness of the joint. Installation of compression fittings in pipelines If you need to use a ferrule seal, please put the ferrule seal on the ferrule first, and then insert the steel pipe with the ferrule pre-installed into the joint body to be connected. Use a wrench to screw the nut on the joint body, and tighten the nut until it feels Resistance, and then tighten it about 1/2 turn. Note: The ferrule seal cannot be disassembled and used repeatedly, so it is generally used for installation and leak-proof maintenance。 |
